Application Checklist

All applications are to be completed online via the Harris Federation Careers website. We will not accept incomplete applications, or those made outside of our careers website. 

Registration

  • Click 'Apply Now' at the right of the job listing.
  • If you are applying to the Harris Federation for the first time, you will need to create a secure Candidate Account and, if registering using an email address, set your password. If you choose to register via a social media account, you will not be asked to set a password.
  • Your password must be at least eight characters long, a combination of upper case/lower case and numbers or special characters, and contain a minimum of two numbers or special characters.

Applying for a role

  • Once signed in, you will be taken straight to the quick and easy online application form.
  • When logged in, you will be able to access an application form for any job straight away by clicking 'Apply Now' at the right of the relevant job screen.
  • If you have applied for a Harris Federation role before, you will be asked whether you wish to copy information from a previous application form. If you choose to do this, the only sections you will need to fill in again are your Referral Information, Supporting Statement and Disclosures.
  • You can check the progress of your application and update your personal details at any time via the Candidate Homepage.

After you have submitted your application

  • You can check the progress of your application and update your personal details at any time via the Candidate Homepage.
  • If you forget your password, you can reset it at any time by clicking here and clicking the link at the bottom of the screen (visible once you have clicked the 'Email' button). Please note that you will not have a password if you have registered with a social media account.
  • If you are invited to interview, you will be sent an email with full details. You can also check for updates via your candidate account.
  • If your application is not successful at any point in the recruitment process, you will receive an email to let you know.

Successful candidates

  • If you are successful at interview, you will receive a conditional offer and begin the onboarding process.
