Harris Wellbeing Cash Plan

Our Medical Cash Plan gives you cover for routine healthcare including optician check-ups, dental treatment, physiotherapy, acupuncture and specialist consultations to help you get quick access to diagnosis.

It also includes a range of benefits designed to help support your overall health and wellbeing, such as specialist scans and selected private package surgeries. This is a taxable employee benefit, the cost of which is met by the Federation.

 

Harris Allowance

For teaching staff we offer a Harris Allowance in addition to your salary - £2,000 for Inner London academies and £1,500 for Outer London academies.

 

Performance and Loyalty Bonus

This bonus rewards staff based on their service with the Harris Federation (calculated at 31st August) and their performance over the academic year. Eligible staff are entitled to the following payments in their December salary:

  • £50 after 1 completed year of service
  • £100 after 2 completed years of service
  • £150 after 3 completed years of service
  • £200 after 4 completed years of service
  • £250 after 5 completed years of service
  • £250 for every year thereafter

Bicycle Purchase Loans

Our Bicycle Purchase Loan offers up to £1,000 through the ‘Cycle to Work’ scheme.

Tapi Carpets Discount Scheme

Staff can get a 20% discount on all carpet and flooring merchandise at Tapi nationwide stores.  The discount does not apply to fitting.

ICT Loans

We offer an interest free loan of up to £2,000 to purchase ICT equipment for personal use only. ICT loans are repayable over a 24-month period.

This provides cover for you and any immediate family members residing at your address, including children in full-time education.  The service provides access to:

  • Face to face counselling referral

  • Legal advice (the EAP will not provide employment law advice)

  • Medical information
